Hellenic J24 Class Association

The Hellenic J24 Class Association is a member of the International J/24 Class Association and the Hellenic Sailing Federation. The association is directed by a steering board, elected by the fleet members every 4 years.

The Greek fleet has a total of 30 registered boats. The sailing calendar of each year includes at least 6 racing events that take place across different locations in Greece. The National Championship is performed in two phases, with the boat scoring the least penalty points to be announced as the National Champion. To promote participation and consistency, the Association at the end of the season awards the three best boats that scored the least penalty points on all the official racing events of the calendar.

In 2019 in cooperation with the Sailing Club of Patras, the Hellenic J/24 Association organized the European J/24 Championship. The success of the event and the excellent organization contributed significantly, so our association was granted to host the J/24 Worlds 2023, an event that will take place on 9 September 2023 at the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki.
